Yes, I know it’s hot outside in Miami but for this top – I would rather melt than leave this hanging in my closet any longer. This top is from the new summer collection of Peace Love World and it’s to die for. Alina Villasante and the design team did an awesome job with this Ann pullover top, it can be worn so many ways with shorts and wedges or how I paired it above. My favorite part of the shirt has to be the sleeves which feature a textured knit pattern from shoulder to cuff. Also, the two gold zippers add that cool effect – you can also lift the zippers as high as you want or as low as you want. Yes, the shirt is white and arms are a off-white giving it that unique look because everyone knows Peace Love World loves making unique yet fashionable pieces. I paired this top with Free People bf jeans which I live in (lol). I decided to dress up the look and add these fabulous shoes from Justfab.com which are so comfy and affordable!!! For accessories, I went with gold layering necklaces and the double pearl choker because layering a bunch of necklaces is so in and I believe, pulls a look together. Don’t let this heat in Miami prevent you from dressing up, I usually wear this top on days I know I’m going to spend my entire time in an air conditioned building, or even to dinner (inside of course). Hopefully you girls take a risk and buy the shirt because once you buy it, it’s love at first sight!

Summer Fun

Summer has officially begun and this calls for fedoras, sunflowers, bubbles, and shorts! This outfit totally envisions what my summer outfits will consist of: a lot of flowy shirts, shorts, sandals, and a lot of accessories. This top can be worn so many different ways: dress it up for a weekend with the girls, with some jeans and wedges, or dress it down, as I did here, for a day having fun out on the town. I love the color burgundy, and the concept of the off the shoulder top; I feel gives it such an elegant touch. I decided to pair the shirt with some distressed denim boyfriend shorts because Miami is way to hot too be wearing skin-tight jeans. To give the outfit color I decided to add snake skin gladiators, and a fedora for that summer feel. On to accessories, this pearl necklace that I’ve been getting a lot of use of is the perfect final touch to any shirt that has a low neckline, yet another elegant, but inexpensive touch.

Basic Festival Bitch

I know this is harsh but it’s true and I’m here to help those girls that don’t want to go as dressed up to festivals and think crop tops and just shorts are going to do. If you think neon colors, pasties, bodysuits, high tops, graphic 90’s tee’s are festival material – you’re half way wrong! Unless you attend Ultra, that’s a whole other story because then that’s some what acceptable.
So I decided to take the basic essentials and dress those up just a tad and make a chic-yet-boho look. Crochet or lace are a must for me… it’s probably the only occasion I can wear those and not to mention this shirt is crochet, off the shoulder, and cropped. Instead of going for high wasted jean shorts, I switched it up and added color by wearing colored shorts. Since this post is mainly for Coachella Weekend 2, day 2 or 3 – I added a floral headband (which is inexpensive and gives it that final touch) that brings the entire outfit together perfectly.

Now ladies… I know Converses are comfortable and I’m not saying I won’t wear them, I’m saying I’d probably wear them with a dress instead of shorts. So with this look, I went for camel-colored snake skin print booties, they are totally fab and not to mention Kendall Jenner wore all snake skin booties this year to Coachella! Add some circle sunnies and your going from “basic bitch” to Basically Fab!

Valentine’s Day Outfit #1

What are your plans for Valentine’s Day, and what to wear omg help!!!???

Well, I’m here to make your life a little less hectic, and be a little more helpful. I decided on two outfits for today’s post: my first outfit is a casual/movie date, A pair of distressed boyfriend jeans, but this time they are a little more fitted, rather than the usual loose and baggy fit; I paired these Cotton On jeans with a plain white v- neck, also from Cotton On, which by the way, the material is like wearing clouds literally (lol). To add a bit of sexiness to the outfit, I spiced it up with nude strappy heels, and a matching clutch to give it a night life feel. To make it feel more Valentine’s Day-ish I added a red matte lipstick, and this gorgeous Channel inspired pearl necklace that I love, and it was just under $8.00. Enjoy your Valentine’s Day with whomever it shall be with that special night.

Fall in Line

Hello love bugs it’s been a while again and I’m so sorry I’m always late on posting but my life just gets crazier and crazier by the second seriously. So while rummaging through my “shopping mall” which my friends just so happen to call my closet that lol, I found this hot little number! This look is so me, you can rock this on a dinner date, bar hopping night, basically anything that has the words night life written all over it.

Distressed denim, surprise surprise I wasn’t lying when I said I crave and need distressed denim in my life. Surprisingly so these jeans are from Forever21, and though it did take a little getting used to. I just feel they don’t flatter my assets the way my favorite jeans would, but the jeans are an awesome accessory to any outfit, they get the job done. The striped crop top is also from Forever21, the top can be paired with practically anything a skater skirt, leather shorts, you name it and for the price $10.00 who wouldn’t buy that? The military inspired vest I got as a birthday gift from my sissy in law and it’s so me. I love that it has mesh in the back and you can see the striped shirt too, doesn’t hide the shirt how any regular old vest usually would. So brownie points for the sissy in law, she knows me oh so well already lmao.

On to the details, the shoes another Forever21 item. Merely enough they are high yet comfortable, and not to mention the same material as the back of the vest. In my opinion they add the sexiness to the outfit along with the lipstick; I like to call it fate, what I’m I saying? Of course it’s fate duhhh. On to Lipstick talk! Heroin, from Mac. I’ve heard so many things about this lipstick and the first time I saw it I was like wow bright but who better to try it then me haha 😀 I believe it added just the right amount of pop to the outfit and the matte finish is my favorite. The bag, oh this bag that had me on a man hunt to find a bag that would liven up this outfit just give it that wow factor, and Jesus did I hit the nail on the head with it. I went everywhere looking for a purple bag, but just not any purple the right purple and low and behold Target of all places. The bag was right there as I walked in bam in your face sitting there waiting for me to scoop it up and debit please to the cashier!!!!

I hope this inspired you to not be afraid to throw in a little pop of color to any black and white outfit you may be wearing. Toddle loves until next time.

Fierce, No Fear!

Fall has arrived and this chick is totally ready to dress the part. To me, October equals fall season which equals burgundies, neutrals, off whites, blacks, plaids, and awesome waffle sweaters. This outfit is totally me being casual yet fabulous!!! When going for plaid, try and stick to darker plaid colors, lighter plaid colors are more for summer and spring. Now, everyone must know already that Cristina pairs everything with distressed denim (lol). So, I paired these with some awesome, super comfy, thick heels. Without the fur – the outfit holds its dressy look for a night out with girlfriends, dinner, or a night out on the town. For accessories, gold necklace and cuff were my choices to pop it out. No rings, no watch and wahh-laaaa, first fall outfit!!!!!

P.S. Sorry for the delay but I’ve been working like crazy and been under the weather lately. Hopefully, I stay on track and keep posting for all my love bugs<3

Stuart Weitzman

I had the honor of attending a special event that Stuart Weitzman in Dadeland Mall hosted with Autism speaks. For every shoe or accessory purchased, a portion was donated to Autism Speaks. I immediately fell head over heels for every shoe!!! Each of their shoes had a perfect height, color, look and not only that, but they’re comfortable.

Here is a list of a few of the Stuart Weitzman heels I tried on during my time there:

“The Mudist Sandal” : A great fit, the height and nude-tone color of the heel was just right. Throw it on with the perfect mini dress, or white button up and distressed jeans. I had to incorporate blue for this outfit to show love and support for Autism – so I picked the same necklace as my “It’s so Miami” post.

“The Queen Pump“: (and yes, that is the name and it’s perfect for the shoe queen trying it on!)The color was intriguing, a color I have never seen before on a shoe. This pump almost became superglued to my feet, ready to be taken home! Before moving onto the next try-on, I had to turn around and take that one last glance.

“The Carlton Bootie“: When I tell you I’m going to have this shoe in my head until I purchase it, it’s because I will! Black petrol paten … a color that I hadn’t seen before till I was holding it. It’s the perfect bootie for fall, especially with the colors in Miami! It’ll go so well with the infamous little black dress. I would even do a mini-skirt with the ruffled flared bottom hem, with one of those super chunky silver metal statement necklaces.

Yes, these shoes may be on the pricey side but hey, guess what! You pay what you get for. Fantastic quality, long lasting, and head turning shoes. So if there are any of these you fell in love with (like I did!), start saving or treat yourself to that perfect, strappy nude heel or pump! You’ll have girls asking where you got them and men wanting to marry you.

Boyfriend Lover

If you don’t own a pair of boyfriend jeans because you’re not sure what to wear them with, that’s all about to change. My first time seeing and purchasing boyfriend jeans, I was more confused than Alice and wonderland! Now, boyfriend jeans have become my go to jeans.

In order for me to wear boyfriend jeans, they need to be cuffed and rolled up – showing a bit of ankle. I prefer distressed denim, and I love going up sizes 2 or 3 sizes because it makes them feel like I borrowed my boyfriends jeans (lol). I actually went on the hunt for inexpensive ones, and ended up in TJ Maxx and ended up purchasing these bad boys from Free People for $15 bucks. Yes peeps, I said it, $15 instead of the original price of $90.00, What an extreme jaw dropper!

It’s very easy to lose a look with adding to many accessories; in the second look, I paired blacks, browns, and golds – very neutral, yet dressy. I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed sharing it, bye babes!
