Once again, I’m a little bit late to the fall trending pieces however, I work full-time so it’s tough at times to manage both the blogging world and full-time job. I’m trying my best and hope that the posts I do publish inspire all my readers, and that you can relate to them.

This button up denim skirt has to be one of the most popular pieces I’ve seen around lately and it reminds me so much of my mother back in the 90’s while I was growing up and would see her in her outfits. I paired it with a simple white quarter sleeve top from Marshalls, I love the scoop neck of the top and omg, it’s like wearing clouds because of how comfortable the material is!! Since its fall and “bootie” season is back, I went with black fringe booties from Necessary Clothing – which I just so happen to live in because not only are they awesome, but they have fringe which has also been another fall trend.

I rarely do big bags because I aim for the focus to remain on the clothing and not a huge bag but I thought this bag went perfect with this look. This black Michael Kors bag reminds me of a miniature brief case (lol), I added silver accessories to pop-out the black on the purse and denim on the skirt.  I was contemplating with adding a necklace or not and decided to go with no necklace because I really wanted this scoop neck to stand out. I love how simple the outfit is but it says so much, and if you need to dress it up a bit more – add a olive trench coat to this outfit and it will look amazing! A burgundy lip never hurt anyone so any dark color will work to complete this look and then, you’re Chic and fall ready!!

I know I’m a tad bit late on posting but better late than never, right? When I saw this dress I had to have it … it was meant to be mine and for two damn good reason. One, It’s camo print, and that’s my favorite. Second, it’s perfect for fall since it’s such a versatile piece and it can be worn with heels or combat boots, like how I did here.

When I pictured the dress, I knew I wanted to change it up a bit and add a nice heel-bootie … something simple since my main focus was the dress. However, when I was rummaging through my shopping-mall (closet), I stumbled across the combat boots and instantly knew that this was the right outfit! Gut feeling people, I’m weird like that. I wanted to add a little color to the outfit since it was just green and black – so I went with a burgundy side bag which is another trendy color for fall. I went with a dark lip to bring out the top part of the dress.

Side note: I also want to thank Alexis Marie, a fellow make-up blogger, who just so happens to dabble in everything and helped me achieve this balayage on my hair that I’m so in love with. She did an awesome job in recreating the picture I gave her and I’m so in love with my hair. If you’re in the Miami area and need a hair stylist, I will link her info below so you can book your appointments and get a fresh and new look from her. I hope you all enjoyed this post and stay tuned for more fall posts!!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Day 2, we chose Disney’s Animal Kingdom because I haven’t been to this park in ages … literally can’t remember when actually. So for this park I went with my own outfit and not a custom t-shirt like how we usually do . This actually was not my original planned outfit – I was going to go with a t-shirt dress, but because of how hot it was and the humidity, I switched it up last minute. I went with this outfit because it’s honestly the most comfortable and so simple. A basic black t-shirt, denim shorts, and pink converse. For the hundredth time, a l/s shirt tied around my waist … it’s so my thing if you haven’t already noticed. Since I was going to be doing a lot of walking, I went with sneakers instead of slip ons and went with these low-top pink converse to add color to the outfit and match my new pink Minnie mouse ears. Once again, this was not planned. We actually were talking the night before about what to wear and we just so happened to pick pink (lmao). This time we didn’t do the whole head-to-toe twin look but it definitely looks planned and it wasn’t, oops! Hopefully you enjoyed my outfits and my mini-vacay to Disney with my best friend, Kristi.

Promise I will have fall outfits up soon and will try to keep in mind the places that do get that nice fall weather and season changes to get cute outfits for you all!!

That’s it peeps!! This is officially my last summer post; hence, the title. I went with an all white look since Labor day already passed haha. What saying or rule has ever stopped anyone from wearing what they wanna wear, anyway? This top is my new obsession … like for real, for real, it’s perfect in so many ways. Not only can I wear it again with a skirt but I can pair it with jeans and denim shorts. Come on people, what more can you ask for from a top?! I recently wore this top to brunch with my bestie and got caught up on her Euro trip. I went with this Ella top from Peace Love World. The top is truly amazing and to give a little bit more information for the ladies – I don’t have to wear a bra! Sorry but for those of you who know me know I’m recently obsessed with not wearing bras – yuck gross! Just the word “bra” kills me!

I went with a white mini skirt because I wanted to show the dressier side to this top. I purchased the skirt in Marshalls, and by the way people, this is my store. I know you ladies hate looking through those racks but trust me, it pays off when you come out paying $10 for a skirt that another store is selling for triple the price. I wanted to keep it neutral and classy so I stuck to nude Steve Madden heels. Omg, you would think Steve Madden pays me for advertising his shoes so much but they don’t trust me!! I just find them so comfy and so effing cute, my god! I added a rose gold envelope clutch from Rack to Closet which is so fabulous and fits everything and of course with anything white, I like to layer on necklaces and see how long it takes me to get annoyed by them choking me by the end of the night. I just find layering necklaces really gives a outfit that extra “humf” and touch. Now, farewell summer you were awesome to me but way too hot! I’m ready for it to cool down so I can start layering and wearing all my olives and fall colors.

So, the summer is winding down people! It ends September 22 and that means less colorful, tropical prints and more olives and burgundies. To start my good-byes to the summer apparel, I’ve decided to go a bit crazy and show you the wacky side to me. Now, when people usually look at prints like these, they stray away … very far away (lol) but that’s the total opposite for me. I usually like to challenge myself and think: “Can I wear that? How can I wear that and where?” Then I think: “Well, yes I can wear them because I’m Cristina!” If you have a bold piece in your wardrobe – make sure to pair it with something basic and I don’t need a special occasion to wear these shorts. I live in Miami, the city of the wacky-tacky tourist!

I wore these shorts because I think there is no other better way to experiment with an outfit (since I just so happen to work in the fashion industry and receive real opinions). I went with a plain-white Logan top from Peace Love World (its on sale!!). The top can be worn so many ways like with jeans, shorts, and even leggings because of the length in the back and how it covers the bottay. I added a denim jacket because I like the contrast of the coral-orange with the white. For the shoes: I went with as, my brother likes to call them, my “Jesus sandals” (lol) not nice Chris!! But they are just so comfy and I truly wear them with everything – the color goes with everything so you can’t blame me, can you?

Something I think it makes this outfit that much better is my hair style! I don’t usually talk about hairstyle but when I asked Jessica, my photographer, if I should put it half up-half down, she didn’t even hesitate to say “omg, yes that would be so cute!!” and thank god I did because the crazy hair did it for us. If you follow me on Snapchat (cristinags) you’ll see my hair like this all the time mainly due to the heat and humidity in Miami and because it’s cute.

So, as the summer fades and the fall quickly approaches, take advantage and go ahead … pull out all those funky prints and bold colors and put them to good use before you have to wait for summer all over again! There will be one more summer post after this one and then begins those Fall posts that I’ve been counting down for!

This was the second look that AlectricVisuals asked me to put together, and something I probably would wear on a daily if I ran out of jeans and t-shirts forever. I went for this urban look instead of jeans because, like I said in the previous post “I‘m with the band,” it’s way to hot for jeans right now. This dress is honestly my LBD (Little Black Dress) for going out; to dress it down I just threw on a camo long sleeve shirt around my waist again, and called it a day! Now I was stuck on whether to wear booties or converse and went with my gut feeling and stuck with converse and I’m so happy I did because the white makes the outfit stand out that much more, and gives it that street style. On to accessories. I live by hats, and I mean if I can own every floppy color hat in the world I would. To make the outfit a little less dressed down I added this floppy hat, and love the pattern contrast between the hat and the camo patterns. Now, I know this is a risk -but hello do you know who I am, Cristina the risk taker- I’ve been dying to share my bag that I got back in December for Christmas from my lovely mother, it’s a MK messenger bag, and it’s so perfect: the colors of the camo aren’t to dark or to bright and its just the right size to fit all your necessities. I hope most you can relate to this outfit because God knows I can (lol). Stay tuned for more, and make sure to follow me on all my social media accounts!!!

Valentine’s Day Outfit #2

The second outfit is for those couples that love to celebrate this day, dress up, and take Miami for what it truly is: a fun and adventurous night out. I paired a simple white dress from Forever 21, and added these divine red studded heels, that I revolved this look around. To add a little more spice to the outfit, I went with 2 simple gold necklaces, and a gold bracelet. I hope this helped some of you that were in a fashion block; even if you don’t have a bf you can totally still dress up, and take your mom or brother out on vday.

Valentine’s Day Outfit #1

What are your plans for Valentine’s Day, and what to wear omg help!!!???

image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image image

Well, I’m here to make your life a little less hectic, and be a little more helpful. I decided on two outfits for today’s post: my first outfit is a casual/movie date, A pair of distressed boyfriend jeans, but this time they are a little more fitted, rather than the usual loose and baggy fit; I paired these Cotton On jeans with a plain white v- neck, also from Cotton On, which by the way, the material is like wearing clouds literally (lol). To add a bit of sexiness to the outfit, I spiced it up with nude strappy heels, and a matching clutch to give it a night life feel. To make it feel more Valentine’s Day-ish I added a red matte lipstick, and this gorgeous Channel inspired pearl necklace that I love, and it was just under $8.00. Enjoy your Valentine’s Day with whomever it shall be with that special night.

What I’m wearing:

Look #1:

Fall in Line

Hello love bugs it’s been a while again and I’m so sorry I’m always late on posting but my life just gets crazier and crazier by the second seriously. So while rummaging through my “shopping mall” which my friends just so happen to call my closet that lol, I found this hot little number! This look is so me, you can rock this on a dinner date, bar hopping night, basically anything that has the words night life written all over it.
imageimage

imageimageimageimageimageimageimage Distressed denim, surprise surprise I wasn’t lying when I said I crave and need distressed denim in my life. Surprisingly so these jeans are from Forever21, and though it did take a little getting used to. I just feel they don’t flatter my assets the way my favorite jeans would, but the jeans are an awesome accessory to any outfit, they get the job done. The striped crop top is also from Forever21, the top can be paired with practically anything a skater skirt, leather shorts, you name it and for the price $10.00 who wouldn’t buy that? The military inspired vest I got as a birthday gift from my sissy in law and it’s so me. I love that it has mesh in the back and you can see the striped shirt too, doesn’t hide the shirt how any regular old vest usually would. So brownie points for the sissy in law, she knows me oh so well already lmao.

On to the details, the shoes another Forever21 item. Merely enough they are high yet comfortable, and not to mention the same material as the back of the vest. In my opinion they add the sexiness to the outfit along with the lipstick; I like to call it fate, what I’m I saying? Of course it’s fate duhhh. On to Lipstick talk! Heroin, from Mac. I’ve heard so many things about this lipstick and the first time I saw it I was like wow bright but who better to try it then me haha 😀 I believe it added just the right amount of pop to the outfit and the matte finish is my favorite. The bag, oh this bag that had me on a man hunt to find a bag that would liven up this outfit just give it that wow factor, and Jesus did I hit the nail on the head with it. I went everywhere looking for a purple bag, but just not any purple the right purple and low and behold Target of all places. The bag was right there as I walked in bam in your face sitting there waiting for me to scoop it up and debit please to the cashier!!!!

I hope this inspired you to not be afraid to throw in a little pop of color to any black and white outfit you may be wearing. Toddle loves until next time.

Fall and plaid … they just go oh-so-well together, don’t you think? I have to say, plaid has been my go-to this fall. I can throw on a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and to spice up the outfit – a plaid shirt! Now, when I laid eyes on this little dress … I was in love! Who wouldn’t want a plaid dress? It’s comfy, cute and can easily be dressed up or down. Believe it or not, I felt so unstoppable with this outfit. The dress was just the right length, and the height of the boots were perfect, everything came out fantastic. Not only are these boots incredibly fabulous, but aside from their look – they’re fitted so they hug the leg well! Omg… I’m drooling!

I threw on my not-so-infamous floppy hat (another go to this fall) and the looks I got in public when walking down Sunset Place with my hat covering half my face and shades hiding my eyes were awesome. With my lovely photographer, Jessica Rivas, snapping away – it just called for turning heads and serious stares. “Is she famous? Who’s that, omg look?”

I was iffy about throwing in a loud purse – I thought it would clash but I took a chance and it paid off. Being that the whole outfit is all black and white, throwing in that “loud” statement piece really worked in my favor and brought the whole outfit together. Not to mention, the bag was only $25.00 from Target! I just had to have it.
