Fellas I know you lack creativity well at least most of you do, I know it’s kind of harsh but it’s true and when it comes to special occasion and holidays you guys are always in a funk and need a girls help. Well I am here to take that pressure of you and give you a good Valentine’s Day gift idea for your special lady. Yeah flowers and candies are nice but can a girl get a little effort put into our gift from time to time. I love this idea because if you know your girlfriend and pay attention like you should be doing then filling in these senses box/bags should be quite easy.

It’s called a senses box and it consist of 5 boxes or whatever you want to put the items in for example boxes, gift bags, etc. Label each box the following See/ Hear/ Smell/ Touch/Taste. Here are a few gift ideas to put in each box I think will be cute, but remember fellas not all girls like the same things. Good luck and happy lover’s day ladies and gents.

  • See: I would probably buy lingerie a lace bra or sexy underwear maybe your favorite color to add your own personal touch. Another idea maybe print her favorite photo of you two and frame it.
  • Hear: If you two have a favorite movie you like to watch together you can buy her a DVD of it. I know a lot of ladies like Disney movies makes them remember their childhood buy them that movie, every girl has a favorite princess! You can also throw it back old school and buy her a CD of her favorite singer or band, I would take out the paper from the front of the CD and customize the front with something you drew or wrote.
  • Smell: If you’re smart you’ll get lotion for massages, or candles to set the mood.
  • Touch: I am addicted to coffee mugs so I would love to touch a damn coffee mug every morning. If your girl loves makeup get her something she’ll like if your clueless get her a gift card for $20.00 to purchase the makeup makes it easier for you.
  • Taste: This is the easiest because this is where the Valentine’s Day candy isle comes in handy because you can stock up and load the bag or box.

February 14 the day the world splits in two and there is only two opinions either your head over heels in love, or your talking shit about every stupid romantic insta quote or couple picture you see. Come on now we have all been guilty of doing at least one of these in our lifetime. I like Valentine’s Day but since being with my boyfriend, we have switched it up we now celebrate it the day after on Feb 15 when everyone is home and the restaurants are back to normal and don’t have wait times of an hour or more. We started this last year which worked out very well and I really enjoyed it because what’s a calendar to tell me when I have to celebrate love day, not happening.

On to gift Ideas I know most people are either stuck on what the hell to buy their loved ones, and then there are others that pay attention when there boyfriend/girlfriend talk. Unlike those people I like to make my own DIY gifts because I feel like it means more than going to a store and buying something. Last year I bought a valentine’s day box and filled it with confetti, I bought all his favorite candies every size and filled the box with those. I purchased mini bottles of all his favorite liquor for example 2 fireballs, 2 Johnny Walker Black Label, and 2 Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire no ladies and gents he’s not a drunk he’s a man’s man  who can drink whisky (lol). I then cut out 6 heart shaped papers and wrote cute silly drunk quotes on each heart, I then tied the hearts with red string around the bottle. Hopefully this gets your artistic juices flowing and makes you want to make your own gift for your loved one this year. For my single peeps no worries throw on your favorite movie order your favorite take out to avoid the long wait times and have your own day, or you can do the Miami thing and grab all your single friends and go out and forget its Valentine’s Day.

Happy Birthday Mimosa

It’s crazy how times flies and the saying: everything happens “in the blink of an eye” is so true. It’s been 2 years that I’ve been in this blogging world and even though it’s not what I envisioned because I wish I could post more often, it’s still something I take pride in and love to do. I’m always saying that I am going to be more consistent with my posts but unfortunately, we live in a world that can get unpredictable – anyway, shut up Cristina! Onto the fashion, please (lol).

“Summer Summer Summer time” Summer is unbearable in Miami, I feel like this year has been brutal … it feels like you’re a melting popsicle that has been left outside in the hot sun. This anniversary I didn’t fancy it up like I did for my first year anni. I went for a very summery look – a loose denim off-the-shoulder dress. This cute little denim dress is light and breathable for being denim material yet if you’re looking for a tighter piece, this dress also comes in a more fitting style. Another item that has resurfaced after being gone for years are choker necklaces. I remember being little and wearing the black plastic ones everywhere and now they are back in style!

I have been looking for the perfect choker necklace and hadn’t really come across any that I fell in love with. I was in Hobby Lobby and decided to roam around the store and ended up in an isle that had every color suede cord and the light bulb in my head turned on to make my own necklaces. So I bought the same color cord as my shoes and made a choker – it worked out great. Onto my fav part of the outfit: my shoes! These heels are so comfortable because they have a chunky heel and the caged look is fitting on your foot. I hope you enjoyed this post and hopefully, I can continue blogging more outfits to keep doing what I love. Happy 2nd Birthday, Mimosa and Pumps!!!!!!!!!

I’m so grateful to be able to attend events as a fashion blogger and getting to experience new places, new things. I was able to attend an event at the Hyatt Centric South Beach that Y100 hosted for the IHeartMedia event. The hotel is beautifully put-together and located in the heart of South Beach on 16th and Collins. I have to be totally honest, I went through numerous outfits before I came across this little number and it wasn’t a easy process. When I went back for the second time to the Agaci store, I was clueless until I came across this skirt – the structure of the skirt is unique and had everything in one. From the olive color (which is so in for the fall season), to the pockets and the tie around belt … and of course, that slit right in front of the skirt. For the top, I took a risk and was a little hesitant on the color only because red isn’t a fall color but once again, pat on my back because this color combo was knocked out of the ball park. The lace detailing on the shirt is perfect and also, not too sheer so I was able to wear a nude bra. I went simple for the shoes and stuck to my nude Steve Maddens (so comfy), the clutch was also nude to have the focus remain on the top and skirt. Hopefully everyone can stop by the Hyatt Centric South Beach and enjoy a cocktail in the lounge area over looking South Beach. Stay tuned for more fall looks!

P.S. Sorry for the pictures, we had a little mishap and had to use an IPhone to take pictures but they still came out awesome!!! Thank you Jessica, of course the best ever.

Once again, I’m a little bit late to the fall trending pieces however, I work full-time so it’s tough at times to manage both the blogging world and full-time job. I’m trying my best and hope that the posts I do publish inspire all my readers, and that you can relate to them.

This button up denim skirt has to be one of the most popular pieces I’ve seen around lately and it reminds me so much of my mother back in the 90’s while I was growing up and would see her in her outfits. I paired it with a simple white quarter sleeve top from Marshalls, I love the scoop neck of the top and omg, it’s like wearing clouds because of how comfortable the material is!! Since its fall and “bootie” season is back, I went with black fringe booties from Necessary Clothing – which I just so happen to live in because not only are they awesome, but they have fringe which has also been another fall trend.

I rarely do big bags because I aim for the focus to remain on the clothing and not a huge bag but I thought this bag went perfect with this look. This black Michael Kors bag reminds me of a miniature brief case (lol), I added silver accessories to pop-out the black on the purse and denim on the skirt.  I was contemplating with adding a necklace or not and decided to go with no necklace because I really wanted this scoop neck to stand out. I love how simple the outfit is but it says so much, and if you need to dress it up a bit more – add a olive trench coat to this outfit and it will look amazing! A burgundy lip never hurt anyone so any dark color will work to complete this look and then, you’re Chic and fall ready!!

I know I’m a tad bit late on posting but better late than never, right? When I saw this dress I had to have it … it was meant to be mine and for two damn good reason. One, It’s camo print, and that’s my favorite. Second, it’s perfect for fall since it’s such a versatile piece and it can be worn with heels or combat boots, like how I did here.

When I pictured the dress, I knew I wanted to change it up a bit and add a nice heel-bootie … something simple since my main focus was the dress. However, when I was rummaging through my shopping-mall (closet), I stumbled across the combat boots and instantly knew that this was the right outfit! Gut feeling people, I’m weird like that. I wanted to add a little color to the outfit since it was just green and black – so I went with a burgundy side bag which is another trendy color for fall. I went with a dark lip to bring out the top part of the dress.

Side note: I also want to thank Alexis Marie, a fellow make-up blogger, who just so happens to dabble in everything and helped me achieve this balayage on my hair that I’m so in love with. She did an awesome job in recreating the picture I gave her and I’m so in love with my hair. If you’re in the Miami area and need a hair stylist, I will link her info below so you can book your appointments and get a fresh and new look from her. I hope you all enjoyed this post and stay tuned for more fall posts!!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Day 2, we chose Disney’s Animal Kingdom because I haven’t been to this park in ages … literally can’t remember when actually. So for this park I went with my own outfit and not a custom t-shirt like how we usually do . This actually was not my original planned outfit – I was going to go with a t-shirt dress, but because of how hot it was and the humidity, I switched it up last minute. I went with this outfit because it’s honestly the most comfortable and so simple. A basic black t-shirt, denim shorts, and pink converse. For the hundredth time, a l/s shirt tied around my waist … it’s so my thing if you haven’t already noticed. Since I was going to be doing a lot of walking, I went with sneakers instead of slip ons and went with these low-top pink converse to add color to the outfit and match my new pink Minnie mouse ears. Once again, this was not planned. We actually were talking the night before about what to wear and we just so happened to pick pink (lmao). This time we didn’t do the whole head-to-toe twin look but it definitely looks planned and it wasn’t, oops! Hopefully you enjoyed my outfits and my mini-vacay to Disney with my best friend, Kristi.

Promise I will have fall outfits up soon and will try to keep in mind the places that do get that nice fall weather and season changes to get cute outfits for you all!!

Happy Labor day weekend peeps! Another holiday we get to spend celebrating in a bikini or wearing a cute outfit while on vacation or hanging out by the beach. For the ladies who don’t want to show as much skin but still want to look cute and enjoy the day celebrating, I usually go for a crochet slip or something flowly and fairly easy to take on and off on top of my bathing suit. I went with this purple ombre dress which is beyond gorgeous! From the colors to the crochet top. So basically your getting the best of both worlds (lol). Not to mention the dress was just $19.99 at Marshalls duhhh, I was season shopping for fall and came across this dress and just had to have it, just look at it, I just couldn’t put it down. For the ladies that like to bare it all in that itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny bikini, please, by all means, do so in this colorful Victoria Secret swimsuit. I’m so in love with this bathing suit not only because is it flattering to all my assets but it’s so comfy and is never riding up and the top is never flying off either, hard to believe I know with these puppies. Make sure to stay safe and drink responsibly!! But most importantly, I like to go by my motto: Have fun and look cute while doing it!!! Happy Labor Day Weekend.

Okay so what can I say, this chick is so ready for her Sundays and Monday nights to go back to normal. Not only am I a fashion blogger but I just so happen to be obsessed with football and especially with the Chicago Bears!!! Since football season is back – what better way to welcome it back other than with fashion (besides the wings and beers lmao!) There is nothing worse than shopping for game day pieces and all you find are jerseys with no shape, team tees in pink, and tees with sparkles. Like come on, get real. Not every girl wears pink, and not every girl wears sparkles … especially for football apparel. I’m extremely picky when it comes to game day gear. I like team tees that I can wear with a variety of options like jeans, shorts, and sneakers. I prefer a jersey but to me, team-logo tees last longer because I can wear them year round even when football season is on hiatus.

On to the sports fashion part of the segment! I’m usually not one of those girls that goes to any sporting events with heels and all dolled up like ever, so not me! That’s more of a “WAGS” style not mine but since this is a blog, I kind of have to show the dressier side to attending a game and the casual side as well. I paired this Chicago Bears v-neck with high wasted shorts because for me to wear jeans or white pants would just not be real of me tbh. I’ve given you two options for your shoes – I know there are women out there that enjoy wearing heels or wedges because they like it so I put on my most comfiest wedges I own to give you an example of how it’ll look. My personal preference is usually sneakers and obviously, has to be team colors so blue converses it is. If it so happens to rain, I usually take a bears jacket for back up so if your team tee gets covered by your jacket – your still repping your team. Happy football season, and bear down!!

This was the second look that AlectricVisuals asked me to put together, and something I probably would wear on a daily if I ran out of jeans and t-shirts forever. I went for this urban look instead of jeans because, like I said in the previous post “I‘m with the band,” it’s way to hot for jeans right now. This dress is honestly my LBD (Little Black Dress) for going out; to dress it down I just threw on a camo long sleeve shirt around my waist again, and called it a day! Now I was stuck on whether to wear booties or converse and went with my gut feeling and stuck with converse and I’m so happy I did because the white makes the outfit stand out that much more, and gives it that street style. On to accessories. I live by hats, and I mean if I can own every floppy color hat in the world I would. To make the outfit a little less dressed down I added this floppy hat, and love the pattern contrast between the hat and the camo patterns. Now, I know this is a risk -but hello do you know who I am, Cristina the risk taker- I’ve been dying to share my bag that I got back in December for Christmas from my lovely mother, it’s a MK messenger bag, and it’s so perfect: the colors of the camo aren’t to dark or to bright and its just the right size to fit all your necessities. I hope most you can relate to this outfit because God knows I can (lol). Stay tuned for more, and make sure to follow me on all my social media accounts!!!
