I’m so grateful to be able to attend events as a fashion blogger and getting to experience new places, new things. I was able to attend an event at the Hyatt Centric South Beach that Y100 hosted for the IHeartMedia event. The hotel is beautifully put-together and located in the heart of South Beach on 16th and Collins. I have to be totally honest, I went through numerous outfits before I came across this little number and it wasn’t a easy process. When I went back for the second time to the Agaci store, I was clueless until I came across this skirt – the structure of the skirt is unique and had everything in one. From the olive color (which is so in for the fall season), to the pockets and the tie around belt … and of course, that slit right in front of the skirt. For the top, I took a risk and was a little hesitant on the color only because red isn’t a fall color but once again, pat on my back because this color combo was knocked out of the ball park. The lace detailing on the shirt is perfect and also, not too sheer so I was able to wear a nude bra. I went simple for the shoes and stuck to my nude Steve Maddens (so comfy), the clutch was also nude to have the focus remain on the top and skirt. Hopefully everyone can stop by the Hyatt Centric South Beach and enjoy a cocktail in the lounge area over looking South Beach. Stay tuned for more fall looks!

Gossip Girl

This was the second look that AlectricVisuals asked me to put together, and something I probably would wear on a daily if I ran out of jeans and t-shirts forever. I went for this urban look instead of jeans because, like I said in the previous post “I‘m with the band,” it’s way to hot for jeans right now. This dress is honestly my LBD (Little Black Dress) for going out; to dress it down I just threw on a camo long sleeve shirt around my waist again, and called it a day! Now I was stuck on whether to wear booties or converse and went with my gut feeling and stuck with converse and I’m so happy I did because the white makes the outfit stand out that much more, and gives it that street style. On to accessories. I live by hats, and I mean if I can own every floppy color hat in the world I would. To make the outfit a little less dressed down I added this floppy hat, and love the pattern contrast between the hat and the camo patterns. Now, I know this is a risk -but hello do you know who I am, Cristina the risk taker- I’ve been dying to share my bag that I got back in December for Christmas from my lovely mother, it’s a MK messenger bag, and it’s so perfect: the colors of the camo aren’t to dark or to bright and its just the right size to fit all your necessities. I hope most you can relate to this outfit because God knows I can (lol). Stay tuned for more, and make sure to follow me on all my social media accounts!!!

Green Floral

Spring has blossomed and to me, Spring is a rompers-and-floral-patterns type of season. What better way to express that than with this perfect romper? I actually wore this outfit for my birthday dinner, and it’s just the right amount of dressy. Not to mention, this romper was only $30 – can you say bargain!? Bargain! I love the details on this little number – from the sheer back to the long sleeves and ruffled bottom trim.

Since it’s Spring and this romper doesn’t have those neon bright colors – I went with a loud but pastel purse. This yellow pastel is just the color to bring out the floral pattern on this romper. I went with strappy wedges and they added that chic-look to the outfit. The gold ring and bracelet wrap up the look (thanks mom! Lol we share everything so it’s always ours not just mine). So, if you need to attend a baby shower, brunch, or early dinner – this is just the look to go for.

Fall in Line

Hello love bugs it’s been a while again and I’m so sorry I’m always late on posting but my life just gets crazier and crazier by the second seriously. So while rummaging through my “shopping mall” which my friends just so happen to call my closet that lol, I found this hot little number! This look is so me, you can rock this on a dinner date, bar hopping night, basically anything that has the words night life written all over it.

Distressed denim, surprise surprise I wasn’t lying when I said I crave and need distressed denim in my life. Surprisingly so these jeans are from Forever21, and though it did take a little getting used to. I just feel they don’t flatter my assets the way my favorite jeans would, but the jeans are an awesome accessory to any outfit, they get the job done. The striped crop top is also from Forever21, the top can be paired with practically anything a skater skirt, leather shorts, you name it and for the price $10.00 who wouldn’t buy that? The military inspired vest I got as a birthday gift from my sissy in law and it’s so me. I love that it has mesh in the back and you can see the striped shirt too, doesn’t hide the shirt how any regular old vest usually would. So brownie points for the sissy in law, she knows me oh so well already lmao.

On to the details, the shoes another Forever21 item. Merely enough they are high yet comfortable, and not to mention the same material as the back of the vest. In my opinion they add the sexiness to the outfit along with the lipstick; I like to call it fate, what I’m I saying? Of course it’s fate duhhh. On to Lipstick talk! Heroin, from Mac. I’ve heard so many things about this lipstick and the first time I saw it I was like wow bright but who better to try it then me haha 😀 I believe it added just the right amount of pop to the outfit and the matte finish is my favorite. The bag, oh this bag that had me on a man hunt to find a bag that would liven up this outfit just give it that wow factor, and Jesus did I hit the nail on the head with it. I went everywhere looking for a purple bag, but just not any purple the right purple and low and behold Target of all places. The bag was right there as I walked in bam in your face sitting there waiting for me to scoop it up and debit please to the cashier!!!!

I hope this inspired you to not be afraid to throw in a little pop of color to any black and white outfit you may be wearing. Toddle loves until next time.
