February 14 the day the world splits in two and there is only two opinions either your head over heels in love, or your talking shit about every stupid romantic insta quote or couple picture you see. Come on now we have all been guilty of doing at least one of these in our lifetime. I like Valentine’s Day but since being with my boyfriend, we have switched it up we now celebrate it the day after on Feb 15 when everyone is home and the restaurants are back to normal and don’t have wait times of an hour or more. We started this last year which worked out very well and I really enjoyed it because what’s a calendar to tell me when I have to celebrate love day, not happening.

On to gift Ideas I know most people are either stuck on what the hell to buy their loved ones, and then there are others that pay attention when there boyfriend/girlfriend talk. Unlike those people I like to make my own DIY gifts because I feel like it means more than going to a store and buying something. Last year I bought a valentine’s day box and filled it with confetti, I bought all his favorite candies every size and filled the box with those. I purchased mini bottles of all his favorite liquor for example 2 fireballs, 2 Johnny Walker Black Label, and 2 Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire no ladies and gents he’s not a drunk he’s a man’s man  who can drink whisky (lol). I then cut out 6 heart shaped papers and wrote cute silly drunk quotes on each heart, I then tied the hearts with red string around the bottle. Hopefully this gets your artistic juices flowing and makes you want to make your own gift for your loved one this year. For my single peeps no worries throw on your favorite movie order your favorite take out to avoid the long wait times and have your own day, or you can do the Miami thing and grab all your single friends and go out and forget its Valentine’s Day.

Be There in a Prosecco

I’m so grateful to be able to attend events as a fashion blogger and getting to experience new places, new things. I was able to attend an event at the Hyatt Centric South Beach that Y100 hosted for the IHeartMedia event. The hotel is beautifully put-together and located in the heart of South Beach on 16th and Collins. I have to be totally honest, I went through numerous outfits before I came across this little number and it wasn’t a easy process. When I went back for the second time to the Agaci store, I was clueless until I came across this skirt – the structure of the skirt is unique and had everything in one. From the olive color (which is so in for the fall season), to the pockets and the tie around belt … and of course, that slit right in front of the skirt. For the top, I took a risk and was a little hesitant on the color only because red isn’t a fall color but once again, pat on my back because this color combo was knocked out of the ball park. The lace detailing on the shirt is perfect and also, not too sheer so I was able to wear a nude bra. I went simple for the shoes and stuck to my nude Steve Maddens (so comfy), the clutch was also nude to have the focus remain on the top and skirt. Hopefully everyone can stop by the Hyatt Centric South Beach and enjoy a cocktail in the lounge area over looking South Beach. Stay tuned for more fall looks!

P.S. Sorry for the pictures, we had a little mishap and had to use an IPhone to take pictures but they still came out awesome!!! Thank you Jessica, of course the best ever.

Once again, I’m a little bit late to the fall trending pieces however, I work full-time so it’s tough at times to manage both the blogging world and full-time job. I’m trying my best and hope that the posts I do publish inspire all my readers, and that you can relate to them.

This button up denim skirt has to be one of the most popular pieces I’ve seen around lately and it reminds me so much of my mother back in the 90’s while I was growing up and would see her in her outfits. I paired it with a simple white quarter sleeve top from Marshalls, I love the scoop neck of the top and omg, it’s like wearing clouds because of how comfortable the material is!! Since its fall and “bootie” season is back, I went with black fringe booties from Necessary Clothing – which I just so happen to live in because not only are they awesome, but they have fringe which has also been another fall trend.

I rarely do big bags because I aim for the focus to remain on the clothing and not a huge bag but I thought this bag went perfect with this look. This black Michael Kors bag reminds me of a miniature brief case (lol), I added silver accessories to pop-out the black on the purse and denim on the skirt.  I was contemplating with adding a necklace or not and decided to go with no necklace because I really wanted this scoop neck to stand out. I love how simple the outfit is but it says so much, and if you need to dress it up a bit more – add a olive trench coat to this outfit and it will look amazing! A burgundy lip never hurt anyone so any dark color will work to complete this look and then, you’re Chic and fall ready!!

Pleated skirts and crop-tops, what better combo for spring!!! I know the pleated skirt is loud but hey, if you’re not going to take a risk on your outfits then whats the point of living?! (lol) So I went with touches of hot pink like the necklace, which is so old but comes in handy many times for me when I’m wearing neutral colors and need that loud statement piece. These earrings are so in right now and can go with anything. The cross body bag is also another item I’ve owned for a while now. I took it on my trip to New Jersey and New York a while ago and till this day I still get compliments on it, it’s spacious and fits everything I need in a small bag. The crop top is a basic top from H&M and is so versatile! It can be dressed up or down depending on the look you want. The skirt is perfect for brunch, baby showers, and dinner dates, etc… The color is in right now and not to mention, right up my alley. I added camel-colored heels to the outfit just to tone it down a bit since the focus of the outfit was the yellow and hot pink.

P.S. Sorry for the disgusting nails and hair! I always have them done and for some reason, this day I was a hot mess and the weather was horrible towards the end of the shoot

P.P.S Now, I just had to mention this location! Jesus, I can shoot every look at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. I’m so in love with the old feel, colors, and architecture, it’s beyond amazing!!!
