It’s crazy how times flies and the saying: everything happens “in the blink of an eye” is so true. It’s been 2 years that I’ve been in this blogging world and even though it’s not what I envisioned because I wish I could post more often, it’s still something I take pride in and love to do. I’m always saying that I am going to be more consistent with my posts but unfortunately, we live in a world that can get unpredictable – anyway, shut up Cristina! Onto the fashion, please (lol).

“Summer Summer Summer time” Summer is unbearable in Miami, I feel like this year has been brutal … it feels like you’re a melting popsicle that has been left outside in the hot sun. This anniversary I didn’t fancy it up like I did for my first year anni. I went for a very summery look – a loose denim off-the-shoulder dress. This cute little denim dress is light and breathable for being denim material yet if you’re looking for a tighter piece, this dress also comes in a more fitting style. Another item that has resurfaced after being gone for years are choker necklaces. I remember being little and wearing the black plastic ones everywhere and now they are back in style!

I have been looking for the perfect choker necklace and hadn’t really come across any that I fell in love with. I was in Hobby Lobby and decided to roam around the store and ended up in an isle that had every color suede cord and the light bulb in my head turned on to make my own necklaces. So I bought the same color cord as my shoes and made a choker – it worked out great. Onto my fav part of the outfit: my shoes! These heels are so comfortable because they have a chunky heel and the caged look is fitting on your foot. I hope you enjoyed this post and hopefully, I can continue blogging more outfits to keep doing what I love. Happy 2nd Birthday, Mimosa and Pumps!!!!!!!!!

Pleated skirts and crop-tops, what better combo for spring!!! I know the pleated skirt is loud but hey, if you’re not going to take a risk on your outfits then whats the point of living?! (lol) So I went with touches of hot pink like the necklace, which is so old but comes in handy many times for me when I’m wearing neutral colors and need that loud statement piece. These earrings are so in right now and can go with anything. The cross body bag is also another item I’ve owned for a while now. I took it on my trip to New Jersey and New York a while ago and till this day I still get compliments on it, it’s spacious and fits everything I need in a small bag. The crop top is a basic top from H&M and is so versatile! It can be dressed up or down depending on the look you want. The skirt is perfect for brunch, baby showers, and dinner dates, etc… The color is in right now and not to mention, right up my alley. I added camel-colored heels to the outfit just to tone it down a bit since the focus of the outfit was the yellow and hot pink.

P.S. Sorry for the disgusting nails and hair! I always have them done and for some reason, this day I was a hot mess and the weather was horrible towards the end of the shoot

P.P.S Now, I just had to mention this location! Jesus, I can shoot every look at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. I’m so in love with the old feel, colors, and architecture, it’s beyond amazing!!!

Valentine’s Day Outfit #2

The second outfit is for those couples that love to celebrate this day, dress up, and take Miami for what it truly is: a fun and adventurous night out. I paired a simple white dress from Forever 21, and added these divine red studded heels, that I revolved this look around. To add a little more spice to the outfit, I went with 2 simple gold necklaces, and a gold bracelet. I hope this helped some of you that were in a fashion block; even if you don’t have a bf you can totally still dress up, and take your mom or brother out on vday.

Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I always need help in giving gifts. Reason why today – I have provided a gift guide for the lucky men in our lives and for the women we love so much.
Husbands/Fiance’s/Boyfriends:

raybansWhat better way to show your man some love than with these awesome gifts?

  • Apple TV
  • Sunglasses
  • Watch
  • Wallet
  • iPhone case
  • Go-Pro
  • Shoes
  • Headphones

If you’re not into buying gifts and want to get creative and make your own, here’s a really cute gift to make!

DIY (Jar of Love)

  • Buy a Mason jar
  • Cut out 100 pieces of paper and write on each strip reasons why you love him

I also filled the bottom of the jar with heart shaped marbles that I purchased from the dollar store to add details.

Once you present them with this thoughtful gift – he has to read one piece of paper each day and relate what he read to you and tell you what he loves about you in return! This builds a bond and makes it a fun and very inexpensive gift.

Sidenote: No clothes as gifts! I’ve learned to stay away from apparel for my boyfriend because we have completely different styles!

Wife’s/Fiance’s/Girlfriends:

Valentines For HerWant your lovely lady to appreciate you? Well, be sure to get her any of these gifts and she will be head over heels over you!

  • A lush bomb
  • Personalized photo collage
  • iPhone case
  • Pink champagne
  • Candy
  • Teddy bear
  • Candles
  • Flowers
  • Spa day
  • Perfume
  • Jewelry

The cherry on top can be the dinner you would like to take her to or cooking for her (this is a must! Lol) Hopefully this helped and guided you in the right direction to purchasing the perfect gift for your loved ones.

Valentine’s Day Outfit #1

What are your plans for Valentine’s Day, and what to wear omg help!!!???

Well, I’m here to make your life a little less hectic, and be a little more helpful. I decided on two outfits for today’s post: my first outfit is a casual/movie date, A pair of distressed boyfriend jeans, but this time they are a little more fitted, rather than the usual loose and baggy fit; I paired these Cotton On jeans with a plain white v- neck, also from Cotton On, which by the way, the material is like wearing clouds literally (lol). To add a bit of sexiness to the outfit, I spiced it up with nude strappy heels, and a matching clutch to give it a night life feel. To make it feel more Valentine’s Day-ish I added a red matte lipstick, and this gorgeous Channel inspired pearl necklace that I love, and it was just under $8.00. Enjoy your Valentine’s Day with whomever it shall be with that special night.

Fashion, celebrities, and designers … what more can a fashionista ask for on a Sunday Funday? Sunday, 24th of November, was the American Music Awards (AMA’s). Yes- I love watching the award show, but my favorite part is the red carpet. Celebrity watching and deciding who, in my opinion, gets best dressed and who gets worst dressed.

Best Dressed:  Well, I had a total of 4 girls for best dressed. These girls totally hit it out of the ball park with their stunning gowns and hot bods. There was definitely more than just 4 that looked beautiful but these are the ones who stood out for me.First lady with the #1 spot for best dressed, Fergie Fer. Showed off her killer legs while dressed in a black halter Halston Heritage dress with a side cut-out and gold belt.#2 is obviously JLO! Baby pink, silk bandage cutout dress from designer Reem Acra. She paired the dress with sparkly, pointy-toed stilettos and a sparkling gold box clutch. #3 Kate Beckinsale astonished me in a bright white Kaufman Franco gown. The glamorous gown was beautifully styled with a sparkling snake necklace and a metallic Lee Savage clutch. #4 Selena Gomez with both her red carpet and performance dresses she nailed it. Selena Gomez looked amazing in a long-sleeved, off the shoulder Giorgio Armani Prive black gown. When she turned around she revealed an unexpected hint of skin thanks to the fact that the dress was entirely backless with her hair in a bun, and statement earrings. Selena opened her performance with the opening monologue of her music video before the lights came up and revealed Selena in a beautiful pale pink dress.

Nick Jonas didn’t fail to bring out his sophisticated side either, stepping out in a double-breasted striped suit by Armani. He walked the red carpet in a stylish suit, which was double-breasted to the extreme with eight buttons. Terrence J from E news and previous host of BET was my #2 best dressed for the guys. Super simple and traditional in Z Zegna, he looked crisp and kept it elegant with a deep purple suit.

Now on to worst dressed, I picked a total of 2 girls and 1 guy. Belona Qereti, what mirror or what friend would let this lady walk out the house with this? Not a real one! (lol). Skylar Grey … really Skylar? With that drop dead gorgeous voice you could have been just as evenly beautiful with a gown on, or even a pant suit. For the boys, oh Jesus, Ansel Elgort. Why couldn’t you get a tux that fit? That outfit was all kind of wrongs in so many ways- his stylist needs to get fired!

I had the honor of attending a special event that Stuart Weitzman in Dadeland Mall hosted with Autism speaks. For every shoe or accessory purchased, a portion was donated to Autism Speaks. I immediately fell head over heels for every shoe!!! Each of their shoes had a perfect height, color, look and not only that, but they’re comfortable.
Here is a list of a few of the Stuart Weitzman heels I tried on during my time there:
The Mudist Sandal” : A great fit, the height and nude-tone color of the heel was just right. Throw it on with the perfect mini dress, or white button up and distressed jeans. I had to incorporate blue for this outfit to show love and support for Autism – so I picked the same necklace as my “It’s so Miami” post.
The Queen Pump“: (and yes, that is the name and it’s perfect for the shoe queen trying it on!)The color was intriguing, a color I have never seen before on a shoe. This pump almost became superglued to my feet, ready to be taken home! Before moving onto the next try-on, I had to turn around and take that one last glance.
The Carlton Bootie“: When I tell you I’m going to have this shoe in my head until I purchase it, it’s because I will! Black petrol paten … a color that I hadn’t seen before till I was holding it. It’s the perfect bootie for fall, especially with the colors in Miami! It’ll go so well with the infamous little black dress. I would even do a mini-skirt with the ruffled flared bottom hem, with one of those super chunky silver metal statement necklaces.
Yes, these shoes may be on the pricey side but hey, guess what! You pay what you get for. Fantastic quality, long lasting, and head turning shoes. So if there are any of these you fell in love with (like I did!), start saving or treat yourself to that perfect, strappy nude heel or pump! You’ll have girls asking where you got them and men wanting to marry you.

White Button up (Forever 21) , Distressed Jeans (Hollister), Necklace (Forever21), Shoes (Steve Madden), Clutch(Steve Madden)

Outfit I’m wearing is old, so I’ve found similar items for you loves!!!

It’s so Miami

Welcome to Miami ✿ Bienvenidos a Miami!

RIV_3857RIV_3882RIV_3871RIV_3864RIV_3898RIV_3959

This outfit was quite easy to put together because it’s literally an everyday outfit here in Miami – especially for me. High-waisted shorts can be found in every girls wardrobe, along with a crop top. And if you feel like you may be showing too much skin, a tank top will work just fine.

Very in style right now are kimonos, they can be found in every color, length and style. They are a great addition to incorporate into an outfit and specifically, this kimono was just perfect because of the vibrant colors and the amount of floral. The detailing on the trims of this kimono are magnificent, and it’s so sheer and light-weight – that on a hot summer day, it’ll be just the right amount of coverage.

Accessories were pretty easy to match, I had the perfect blue necklace for this outfit which made the shirt stand out more and brightened up the blue in the floral pattern of the kimono. I didn’t want to do too much blue, so I decided on a white bracelet that matched the trimming of the kimono. Now on to my favorite accessory: the clutch!!! A Steve Madden royal blue, fringe clutch – to die for! And yet again, it was a bargain for $25 dollars. Jesus, how I love the world of bargain and sale! It’s music to my ears and wallet (lol).

Despite the heat and sweating I put up with (even with all the little clothing I had on!), I survived thanks to the car AC and the frequent breeze that would blow through the palm trees. Still, the weather was beautiful and with Fall slowly approaching, the bold, bright and fun colors are going to slowly start fading into neutrals and over knit sweaters. Since Miami does it’s own thing when it comes to seasons, I’ll be trying to push and enjoy every last bit of summer clothing I can!

Until then, enjoy! Adiós, amores ♡
